ALEJANDRO & LAIA
Trent was founded by Alejandro and Laia, who met eight years ago in Colombia. It was there that they first encountered a generation of local designers whose work felt both distinct and underrepresented — an experience that shaped the initial intention behind Trent: to give visibility to emerging voices in fashion.
The idea evolved over time, shaped by their respective paths within the industry. What began as a focus on discovery gradually expanded into a broader question around access — how to engage with designers you don’t yet know, and how to wear pieces you’re not sure how you feel in.
Rental emerged as a natural answer. A way to experience fashion with more freedom — to try, to test, and to build a relationship with clothing beyond ownership.
Three years ago, Trent took form. Not only as a response to a gap in the market, but as a proposal for a different model within fashion — one that combines curation, service, and a more flexible approach to consumption.
Based in Barcelona, Trent reflects a shared intention to contribute something distinct to the city — not only through the designers it brings together, but through a way of engaging with fashion that feels considered, open, and forward-looking.
TRENT STORE
Trent is a designer fashion boutique in Barcelona, bringing together a curated selection of established and emerging luxury designers, available to rent or purchase. Positioned at the intersection of fashion, access, and experience, the space reflects a new way of engaging with high-end fashion — more flexible, more immediate, and more connected to how people dress today.
Located in the centre of Barcelona, in an area defined by galleries and architecture studios, the store was conceived as a physical extension of Trent’s universe. A place to move beyond the transactional, and instead build proximity with our community — through fittings, conversations, and events that bring the collection into context.
The space spans 500m² and has been designed to reflect a contemporary, forward-facing approach to fashion retail. Three large fitting rooms sit at its core, created to allow time, comfort, and perspective when trying on pieces. The largest, at 50m², is conceived as a private environment — to come alone or with others, and select looks with intention, whether for an event, a trip, or everyday dressing.
More than a store, Trent operates as a platform where rental and retail coexist — offering access to designers that are often difficult to find in Spain, within a setting that prioritises both experience and clarity of choice.
TRENT TALKS by CUBERO
TRENT TALKS by CUBERO is a conversational platform centred on visual culture, approached through multiple disciplines. It is dedicated to exploring how visual culture shapes the way we understand the world.
We examine how images, objects, and visual media influence perception and inform behaviour in everyday life.
We support thinkers, artists, and designers who lead conversations between academia and the arts, driven by a shared curiosity around what it means to inhabit different layers of reality.

Without a fixed brief, each session becomes a different interpretation — a way of seeing how clothing shifts depending on who constructs it.
